Postdocs and graduate students preparing application materials for tenure-track academic positions may schedule individual consultations with Christine Holmes, Director of Postdoctoral Studies, to discuss their job search and application material, book an appointment. We strongly encourage attending one or more of the programs above prior to scheduling an individual consultation with Christine Holmes.
All graduate students and postdocs can access online webinars offered through The National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD). Individual NCFDD memberships are available for free to all Cornell community members as a benefit of Cornell’s Institutional membership. Resources provided by the NCFDD include 14-Day Writing Challenges, Monday Motivators, Dissertation Success Training Modules, Guest Expert Webinars, and more!
CIRTL is a North American future faculty preparation effort with branches at more than 40 universities, including Future Faculty and Academic Careers. Participate in webinars, courses, and institutes on diversity in the college classroom, Individual Development Plans (IDPs), the academic job search, and many additional topics in the areas of teaching and research mentoring. Available to all Cornell graduate students, postdocs, faculty, and staff, plus Graduate School alumni and recent Cornell postdocs.
